I can’t even…Native people, who had no civilization, no written language (most of the time), no laws, no concepts of rights of any kind, no concept of logic, reason, rationality, science, math, literature, art, and they mainly roamed around America in small bands hunting for food or planting and killing each other over mindless tribal wars, so much so that they glorified and developed a detailed ritual of torturing their enemies (with no aim to get anything out of them, like information).
The Europeans were just another tribe that came along and played the Native American’s game, and won, at the very least. Not to mention that they had the best and most advanced civilization, despite their own set of bad ideas and bad practices. If you are going to damn America, then you should also damn all the Native tribes who constantly warred and conquered other people in the Americans for thousands and thousands of years.
Or do you think that “white people” belong on “white land” and that “red people” belong on “red land”? Can you say “racist”? Collectivist? The idea that people born on a piece of dirt because they happen to be born there?
Or do people have a right to land because they have a concept of private property and develop the land, and objectively demonstrate what they own? Or maybe the whole “this vast range of undeveloped land is mine because my grandfather once walked through it” works?
